The Association of Private Tourist Organizations of Uzbekistan (APTO) is undertaking a set of measures to promote the tourist product of our country in Germany. The starting point for new actions was the visit of the chairman of the Association of Private Tourist Organizations of Uzbekistan N.Kasimov to Germany.
In Uzbekistan, seminars will be held for tour operators to promote the Uzbek tourist product in Germany, the effective positioning of Uzbekistan as a tourist destination, as well as the specifics of receiving and servicing German tourists.
This follows from the Agreement on Cooperation between the Association of Private Tourism Organizations of Uzbekistan and the Association for Economic Cooperation with Eastern and Central European Countries, and an accord was reached on the joint development of a Plan of concrete actions for the medium term.
The Association for Economic Cooperation with Eastern and Central European countries unites more than 200 medium and small companies in Germany. Another very fruitful meeting of N.Kasimov was negotiations in the Association of Independent Tourist Companies of Germany.
The parties agreed that the German association will support the tourist companies of Uzbekistan recommended by APTO in the German market, facilitate the participation of APTO at tourist events in Germany and hold presentations and business meetings in the "B2B" format.
Separate meetings were also held with independent experts in the field of tourism, V. Bettinger and A. Porsche, with whom they discussed issues related to the specifics of work in the German tourist market, advertising and non-advertising methods for promoting tourist products, the mentality of German tourists, and the development of environmental and rural tourism based on the German experience.
