By the new decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev Uzbekistan will introduce 30 day visa-free regime for citizens of another 45 countries from February 1, 2019.
In February last year, the head of the state signed a decree on the introduction of a visa-free regime for a period of 30 days for citizens of 7 countries - Israel, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey and Japan.
In March, 2018 Tajikistan was added to this list, in October - France (the total number of such countries is 18), and Germany will be added in January 15, 2019.
The list of countries whose citizens have the possibility of obtaining an electronic entry visa will also expand to 76 countries in February 1, 2019 (as a result, the total number of countries will be 177).
In addition, double and multiple electronic entry visas with a validity of 30 days will be introduced in March 15, 2019.
Additionally, new categories of visas are introduced for certain groups of foreign citizens (non-electronic) - Vatandosh, Student, Academic, Medical and Piligrim visas.
Thus, from February 1, 2019, the full list of countries with 30 day visa-free regime will include 64 countries.
